One meal people have always been a favorite, especially for families who are very busy. You can cook delicious casseroles that are healthy and tasty.

Casseroles are made in one dish. You combine all the ingredients, bake at the suggested temperature for the suggested time and you have your whole dinner in one pot. There are many different casseroles that you can make. You can use a recipe or come up with your own recipe.

Tuna casserole has always been on the top of the list as one of the most common and favorite casseroles. It usually consists of tuna, noodles, bread crumbs and whatever veggies you decide you want to add. Some of them are made with a ranch dressing and others with a cheese sauce.

Chicken and broccoli is another favorite in many families. You might see this one at family affairs with another favorite, green bean casserole.

For many people today, healthy food is a priority on their list. You can make healthy casseroles, too!
Vegetable casseroles without the heavy cream sauces are becoming very popular, with such things as zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, onions and barley as their main ingredients.

Casseroles can be made up a head of time and just popped in the oven when you get home from work. You can also make up several different kind. Cook them all the way through and then pop them in the freezer. Then, when you are ready to eat them, pop them in the microwave and you have dinner ready for you in 10 to 20 minutes.
