Alternatives to Fried Foods

You know that fried foods are not good for you because they can cause clogged arteries. In order to eat healthier, you have to make a changes in the way you prepare your food. You can start by broiling breaded fish or baking it instead of frying it. You can do the same with chicken or turkey as well. You can also stew the chicken or turkey instead of baking them in the oven.

You can make a delicious chicken soup which everyone loves. In fact, you can use the chicken or turkey for spaghetti sauce instead of ground beef. You can try anything if you are serious about staying healthy. You could make pastas that have low fat meats and cheeses that don't have to be cooked, fried or baked. You can also use them for the main course meat. Another good way to make your meat is to steam it instead of using oil to fry it.

You may find out that you like it better steamed then fried. The only thing standing in your way is you. You are going to have to search and find some recipes that are not fried and try them. You can even experiment yourself with what you are used to making. In fact, you can even crumble up the ground beef in a little water instead of frying it in the grease. Then you could drain the water and the grease off. There is a lot less grease when you do it this way.
