Cooking any type of food is an art and requires knowledge and technique. This is especially the case when it comes to preparing fish and any type of seafood. When it comes to preparing fish there is always one big problem and that is getting rid of the actual fish taste. Another problem with cooking fish is that different species require different methods of cooking in order for it to turn out edible and to everyone's liking. Mastering the art of cooking food is like anything else and comes with time and experience.
The key to preparing succulent fish seafood dishes is getting creative with them. Using different sauces, fruits, vegetables, and even pastries can liven up any seafood dish depending on how they are used. Never be afraid to try something out of the ordinary as well. If following a recipe don't think you have to do exactly as it says, tweak it to your likes and dislikes. Always have a complementary side and/or sides to your main dish to bring out the fullness of the main dish.
Just imagine if everyone cooked the same dishes over and over in their lifetime. They would get bored with the art and have no true taste at all. Never get down on yourself with your cooking. If someone doesn't like your particular dish just relax and remember that everyone has their own acquired taste and maybe you'll get their approval with the next one. Learning to cook will save you money and help develop you as a person.
